Pro Star USB CD Player for Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019 through 2026 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid models that left the factory without one. It draws power from the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing radio and steering-wheel controls. No extra wiring or tools are required for installation.

Printed manual and plug-and-play cable change

A printed instruction sheet is included in the box and the USB cable plugs straight into the car's port. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or anywhere the cable reaches. Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the system.

Verify your Sonata Hybrid has a functional USB

The device needs an available USB port that supplies power and data to the factory head unit. If the port is damaged, missing or reserved for another accessory, the CD player will not work. Buyers who want multi-disc changers or built-in navigation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the USB cable need replacing if it frays from daily routing to the centre console?

The cable plugs directly into the car's USB port with no extra wiring; if it becomes damaged it can be swapped for any compatible USB cable of sufficient length.

What stops the player from reading discs during a long drive — heat, vibration or power drop?

The unit draws power from the vehicle USB port, so a sustained voltage dip or loose connection at the port will halt playback before heat or vibration become factors.

Does the player get hot or make fan noise when it runs all day on a road trip?

It has no fan and is powered by the car's USB port, so it stays at cabin temperature and operates silently during extended use.
