Jaguar F-Type CD add-on

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Jaguar F-Type models that left the factory without one. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port so owners can play their existing CD collections through the original audio system.

Thermals noise and power

The unit draws all of its power from the car's USB socket, so there is no separate wiring or external supply to manage. Operation is silent and produces no noticeable heat inside the cabin during normal playback.

Mounting flexibility and daily use

A printed instruction sheet is included and the maker advises allowing two minutes for the disc to finish indexing before use. The compact drive can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the USB cable reaches.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pro Star USB CD Player in my 2019-2026 Jaguar F-Type, and what step causes setup issues?

Plug the USB cable into the vehicle's USB port, then allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the player. Interrupting this process requires restarting installation with a different disc.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pro Star USB CD Player need over time?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts. If the laser mechanism fails or the USB cable is damaged, the entire external CD player must be replaced.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Pro Star USB CD Player?

Continuous operation depends on the Jaguar F-Type's USB port supplying adequate power; if the port current drops during long drives, the player may stop reading discs.
