Add CD Playback to Kia K8

This Pro Star USB CD player restores disc playback for 2019-2026 Kia K8 models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The device is controlled through the existing factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Check USB Port Availability

Verify that your Kia K8 has an accessible USB port capable of supplying power and data for an external accessory. The included cable must reach the port from your chosen mounting location on the centre console or in the glove box. No extra wiring or tools are required for the connection.

Printed Manual Guides Indexing

A printed instruction manual is bundled to walk you through the setup steps. The documentation stresses allowing two minutes for the disc to finish indexing before use. Interrupting this process means restarting the procedure from step one with a different disc.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star USB CD Player include everything needed for installation in a 2019-2026 Kia K8, or are extra cables required?

The package contains the USB CD player unit, a printed instruction manual and the USB cable that plugs directly into the vehicle's USB port. No additional wiring, adapters or tools are needed for the plug-and-play setup.

Is there more than one version of this Pro Star CD player for the 2019-2026 Kia K8, and how do I pick the right one?

Only the single model shown is offered for the 2019-2026 Kia K8. It is designed specifically for that vehicle range, so there are no alternative capacities or trim levels to choose between.

After I plug the Pro Star CD player into the Kia K8's USB port, how long before I can play a disc?

Allow roughly two minutes for the disc to finish indexing during the initial installation. Interrupting that process means you must insert a different CD and restart the setup from step one.
