Pro Star USB CD Player for Kia Niro 2019-2026

This external CD player adds disc playback to Kia Niro models from 2019 through 2026 that lack a factory unit. It draws power and data from the vehicle's USB port with no extra wiring or tools required. The compact design mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Plug-and-play USB connection decides compatibility

The single specification that determines fit is the factory USB port: the player must plug directly into that port to function. If the Niro's USB port is occupied, damaged or absent, the unit cannot install. No alternative power or data interfaces are provided.

Handles standard audio CDs.

The player comfortably reads ordinary music CDs and user-burned CD-R or CD-RW discs once indexing completes. It runs out at DVD movies, Blu-ray discs, MP3 data DVDs or high-capacity archival media — none of those formats are supported.

Questions about this item

What does the 2019-2026 compatibility range mean for my Kia Niro?

It confirms the USB CD player is designed to work with Kia Niro models manufactured between 2019 and 2026, using the vehicle's factory USB port for both power and data connection.

What does the USB interface actually do in this installation?

The single USB cable supplies power to the CD player and carries the audio signal to the car's infotainment system, so no separate power lead or auxiliary input is required.

Where can I mount the unit in my Niro?

The player can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or any flat surface where the attached USB cable reaches the vehicle's port.
