Add External CD Playback

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019 to 2026 Lexus ES Hybrid models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and is powered entirely through that connection. The unit is designed for drivers who still prefer physical media over streaming or digital files.

Single Disc Capacity and Indexing

The device handles one standard audio CD at a time and requires roughly two minutes to index the disc before playback begins. Interrupting this process means restarting the setup with a different disc. It does not support multi-disc changers or playback of data discs containing MP3 or WMA files.

USB Power and Cabin Placement

Because it draws power from the car's USB port, there is no separate power adapter or wiring harness to route. The compact chassis can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the supplied cable reaches. Operation is silent and adds no measurable load to the vehicle's electrical system.
