Pro Star USB CD Player for Lincoln MKC

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc CD drive to 2019 to 2026 Lincoln MKC models that lack a factory player. It connects directly to the vehicle USB port with no extra wiring or tools required. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box. Controls work through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

USB-powered operation with silent playback

The player draws power from the car USB port so no separate supply is needed. Mechanical noise is limited to the disc motor during playback and indexing. Allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use; interrupting the process means restarting the setup with a different disc.

Replaces a missing factory CD player

This unit is for owners who still listen to physical CDs and whose MKC came without a built-in drive. It is not for buyers who want Bluetooth streaming from a phone, USB mass-storage playback or a multi-disc changer. If you only need digital file playback, the factory system already covers that.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pro Star USB CD Player in my Lincoln MKC, and what step do people often get wrong?

Plug the cable into the vehicle USB port, then wait the full two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the controls; interrupting this step forces you to restart with a different disc.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pro Star USB CD Player need later?

The unit has no user-serviceable parts; if the laser pickup or USB cable fails the whole device is replaced.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Pro Star USB CD Player?

Continuous operation is limited by the vehicle USB port's power delivery; if the port cannot supply enough current the player will stop reading discs.
