External CD Player for Ram 4500

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Ram 4500 trucks that left the factory without one. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port so there is no extra wiring or tools required. The unit is designed for drivers who still want to listen to their physical CD collection while using the original radio and steering-wheel controls.

USB-powered with two-minute indexing

The player draws power from the USB connection and reads standard audio CDs. After inserting a disc you must allow roughly two minutes for the indexing process to finish before the system is ready. Interrupting that process means you have to restart the setup from the beginning with a different disc, so patience during the first read is essential.

Flexible mounting on the centre console

Because the only link to the truck is the USB cable, the drive can be placed vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box or anywhere else the cable reaches. No dashboard cut-out or separate power feed is needed, which keeps the installation reversible and leaves the factory interior untouched. Buyers who need multi-disc changers or support for other media formats will not find those features here.
