Compatible Volkswagen Golf R Years

This USB CD player fits 2019 through 2026 Volkswagen Golf R models. It adds a single-disc CD drive to vehicles that no longer include one from the factory. The unit draws power and data from the car's USB port. No extra wiring or tools are needed for installation.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

Drivers who want to play physical CDs through the factory stereo will find this a direct plug-in solution. It works with the existing radio and steering-wheel controls. Buyers whose vehicle lacks a USB port cannot use this device. Those needing multi-disc changers or DVD playback should look at other products.

USB Port Requirement

The player must connect to a functional USB port in the vehicle to receive power and communicate with the infotainment system. Installation requires allowing two minutes for the disc to finish indexing before use. The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.
