Ferrari 812 GTS CD Player

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Ferrari 812 GTS models that left the factory without one. It draws power and data from the vehicle's existing USB port so no extra wiring or tools are required.

Replacing a missing factory CD slot

Many 812 GTS owners lose the ability to play physical discs when the manufacturer omits the built-in player. This unit restores that function and lets the original radio or steering-wheel buttons control playback, making the upgrade worthwhile for anyone with a CD collection.

Sustained playback behaviour

After a two-minute indexing period the drive reads continuously from the disc without re-buffering. Interrupting the initial index forces a full restart with a different disc, so the installer must allow the process to finish before regular use begins.

Questions about this item

Where can the Pro Star USB CD Player be mounted in the Ferrari 812 GTS?

The unit can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the center console, in the glove box, or anywhere else that allows the cable to reach the vehicle USB port.

What is the critical step people often skip during installation?

You must allow 2 minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the player; interrupting this process requires restarting the installation from Step 1 with a different disc.

Does the Pro Star USB CD Player require a separate power connection?

No, the player is powered entirely through the vehicle USB port and does not need any additional wiring or external power source.
