Quick Setup & Heat Management

An integrated speedring allows the softbox to be assembled in seconds without separate mounting hardware. A recessed front panel prevents shadows and hotspots from forming at the centre of the light spread. When a ProHead is used at 2400 Ws alongside a 500 W halogen continuous light at full power, limit the sequence to 8 flashes per minute to keep the speedring from becoming too hot to touch.

Halogen Continuous Light Limit

The softbox accepts halogen continuous lights up to 500 W, so higher-wattage constant sources cannot be used inside the modifier. It mounts directly to any 100 mm light head and works with Profoto A-Series flashes via an OCF Adapter, but other mounting systems are not supported by the built-in speedring. Buyers needing compatibility with non-100 mm fixtures or higher continuous output should consider a different modifier.
