Precise 50° Beam Control

The Profoto Clic Octa Softgrid 2.7' narrows the light spread to 50°, minimising spill and adding directionality for refined illumination. It attaches to the Clic Softbox for targeted output in studio or on location. The octagonal design creates natural catchlights in portrait subjects. Professional-grade materials ensure durability through frequent use.

Consistent Performance Under Sustained Use

The lightweight construction and included soft pouch make the softgrid easy to transport and quick to set up for extended shoots. Its durable build withstands repeated attachment and removal without degrading light quality. Even light diffusion reduces hotspots across long sessions. The tight grid pattern maintains forward directionality in tight shooting environments.

Designed Exclusively for Clic Softbox

This softgrid is specifically engineered for the Clic Softbox system and will not fit other modifiers. Buyers needing to control spill on larger softboxes or different mounting systems cannot use this accessory. The fixed 50° spread cannot be adjusted for wider or narrower coverage. Photographers requiring variable beam angles must seek alternative solutions.

Questions about this item

Does the Profoto Clic Octa Softgrid 2.7' 50° generate any heat or noise during long studio sessions?

The softgrid is a passive fabric accessory with no electronics, so it produces no heat, noise or power draw of its own.

What Profoto softbox must I already own for the Clic Octa Softgrid 2.7' 50° to attach and function?

It is engineered specifically for the Profoto Clic Softbox and clicks directly onto that softbox's front diffuser.

Will the 50° grid fit and control light on an older Profoto RFi or OCF softbox I still use?

No — the Clic mounting system is unique to the Clic Softbox range and is not compatible with RFi, OCF or other legacy Profoto softboxes.
