Profoto RFi Speedring Adaptor for Elinchrom

This adaptor connects Profoto RFi softboxes to Elinchrom flash heads. It suits photographers who already own Elinchrom lighting and want to use Profoto light-shaping tools without changing their strobe system. The mount works with RFi softboxes from 1x1.3' up to 4x6' and Octa models.

Limited to Profoto RFi softboxes

The adaptor only accepts Profoto RFi series softboxes; other Profoto or third-party softboxes will not mount. It fits Elinchrom heads but does not support other brands unless a separate dedicated speedring is purchased. The 360-degree rotation is mechanical and requires manual adjustment.

Replaces brand-specific softboxes for mixed flash

Photographers running both Elinchrom and Profoto flashes can standardise on RFi softboxes instead of keeping separate modifier sets for each brand. The jump is worth it when you regularly switch between flash systems and want one softbox range to serve all heads. It does not help if you use only one flash brand or need modifiers outside the RFi line.
