Projector Mount for Acer Models

This ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Acer R245R, U5220, U5220B, U5320W and U5520i projectors. It uses a CNC-machined plate made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium to ensure a precise fit. The design minimises coverage of the projector body to preserve airflow and heat dissipation. It is not intended for drop or false ceiling installations.

Telescoping Extension Behaviour

The mount positions the projector approximately 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling using a telescoping tube that adjusts in 1 inch increments. A lateral shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left and right movement to centre the lens when the mounting surface is off-centre. The entire assembly rotates 360 degrees and allows pitch and roll adjustment for exact image alignment.

13 to 20 Inch Drop Range

The telescoping extension length is the specification that determines whether this mount suits the room geometry. Buyers who need a shorter fixed drop or a longer extension beyond 20 inches cannot use this model. The package includes all necessary hardware and detailed instructions for a straightforward installation.

Questions about this item

Does the mount generate any noise or heat when the projector runs all day?

The mount itself is a passive aluminium structure with no moving parts, so it adds no noise or heat during continuous projector operation.

What projector models must I already own for this mount to fit?

The mount is CNC-machined for Acer R245R, U5220, U5220B, U5320W and U5520i projectors only; other models will not fit.

Will the 13-20 inch telescoping range clear the same ceiling height I used with an older universal mount?

The extension locks in 1-inch steps from 13 to 20 inches, so you can match or adjust the drop distance of your previous setup.
