Projector Mount for Acer Models

This ceiling mount is built for Acer projectors including the AS328, AW328, AX328, F14S, F14W, F14X, M305, M315 and M325. It positions the unit roughly five inches below the ceiling surface. The design suits installers who need a dedicated bracket rather than a universal kit.

CNC Plate and Lateral Shift Coupling

The machined aluminium plate matches the mounting points on the listed projectors so no adapter is required. A lateral shift coupling provides one and a half inches of side-to-side travel to centre the lens when the ceiling joist is off-axis. All fixing hardware and illustrated instructions ship in the box.

6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminium Construction

The entire bracket is cut from 6061-T6 alloy for rigidity without excess weight. The arm rotates through 360 degrees and tilts in any direction for precise image alignment. This mount is not rated for suspended or false ceilings.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminum mounting plate or lateral-shift coupling need periodic tightening or replacement?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with CNC-machined plates and includes all hardware for a one-time installation; no scheduled maintenance or replacement parts are mentioned.

How far can the projector be shifted laterally before the 1-1/2 inch coupling reaches its limit?

The Lateral Shift Coupling provides exactly 1-1/2 inches of left-right adjustment to centre the lens; beyond that range the mount cannot compensate for further misalignment.

Does the fixed 5-inch drop restrict airflow or cause heat build-up during all-day operation?

The design leaves adequate space around the projector for heat to escape, and the open 5-inch clearance does not impede normal ventilation during continuous use.
