Direct-Fit Ceiling Mount for Acer Projectors

This aluminium ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Acer MU529, Q59F, Q59U, VH-427, X1529HP and X1629HP projectors. The CNC-machined plate attaches directly to the projector chassis without universal adapters. It positions the unit roughly 10 inches below the ceiling surface.

Replacing Universal Mounts

Builders replacing a generic bracket gain a precise fit that leaves ventilation gaps clear and uses minimal projector coverage. The upgrade is worth it when the existing mount blocks exhaust vents or cannot achieve the required 10-inch drop. It is not suited for drop-ceiling grids or projectors outside the listed Acer series.

Simple Drywall or Beam Installation

All mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions are included for wood-beam or drywall ceilings. The joint rotates 360 degrees and tilts up to 80 degrees for alignment. The only common issue is discovering the ceiling structure cannot accept the supplied anchors, which requires separate fasteners.

Questions about this item

What ceiling types can the 10 inch extension mount be fixed to?

The kit includes hardware for drywall ceilings and wooden beams; it is not designed for drop or false ceilings.

Which step in the 360 degree rotation setup is most often missed?

Users frequently forget to lock the tilt mechanism after setting the desired +/- 80 degree angle, leaving the projector loose.

Does the CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminium plate need any upkeep?

No routine maintenance is required; the aircraft grade aluminium resists corrosion and the mount has no moving parts that wear out.
