Projector Ceiling Mount Extension

This aluminium extension tube positions an Infocus INV30, IN119HDxa, IN119HDG or Screenplay SP1081HD projector approximately 10 inches from the ceiling. It is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium and includes all mounting hardware plus detailed instructions for a straightforward installation on drywall or wooden beams.

Replacing a Fixed-Distance Mount

The 10-inch drop replaces a flush ceiling plate when the projector must clear a low bulkhead, a ceiling fan or a decorative cornice. The upgrade is worth it whenever the factory plate places the lens too high for the screen geometry or when heat needs extra clearance above the chassis.

Physical and Structural Limits

The mount rotates 360 degrees and tilts up to 80 degrees in any direction, but it is not designed for drop or false ceilings. The CNC-machined plate fits only the four Infocus models listed, so owners of other projectors cannot use this extension.
