NEC VT770 Ceiling Mount — Who It Fits

This aluminium ceiling mount is engineered specifically for the NEC VT770 projector. It suits installers who need a dedicated plate that matches the projector's mounting points exactly. Buyers with any other projector model cannot use this mount because the plate will not align.

Telescoping Range and Lateral Shift Limits

The pole extends from 13 to 20 inches in one-inch increments so the projector hangs at the required drop. A lateral-shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of side-to-side travel to centre the lens when the ceiling joist is off-axis. The mount is not designed for drop or false ceilings.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminium Build and Install Notes

The plate and coupling are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for rigidity and heat dissipation. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included for a straightforward installation. The plate you receive may look different from product photos but will fit the VT770.

Questions about this item

Which extension length should I choose for the NEC VT770 mount?

The telescoping extension adjusts from 13 inches to 20 inches in 1 inch increments, so you can set the exact drop distance required by your ceiling height.

What does the 360 degree rotation mean once the mount is installed?

The projector can be rotated a full 360 degrees, plus pitched and rolled in any direction, allowing precise image alignment without moving the ceiling bracket.

How does the lateral shift coupling work with the mounting interface?

The coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left/right adjustment to centre the lens when the ceiling joist is not perfectly aligned with the screen centre.
