Designed for Sony VPL-EW348 series

This ceiling mount is engineered exclusively for the Sony VPL-EW348, EX225, EX235, EX245, EX255, EX275 and EX295 projector models. The CNC-machined mounting plate ensures a precise fit using minimal projector coverage. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings and will not fit models outside the listed series.

360-degree rotation with lateral shift

The mount rotates a full 360 degrees and offers pitch and roll adjustment in any direction. A lateral shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left and right movement to centre the projector lens when the mounting surface is off-centre. This flexibility supports accurate image alignment during sustained daily operation.

Aircraft aluminium construction and heat clearance

Built from 100 percent 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for durability, the mount positions the projector approximately 5 inches from the ceiling. This spacing leaves adequate room for heat to escape during normal use. All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included for straightforward installation.

Questions about this item

Does the 6061-T6 aluminium construction keep the Sony VPL-EW348 cool when it runs all day?

The CNC-machined 6061-T6 plate covers only the minimum surface and leaves ample space for heat to escape, so the projector stays cool during continuous use.

What tools or parts must I already have to install the SONY-VPL-EW348-SLOTTED mount?

All necessary hardware and detailed instructions are included, so no extra parts are required beyond basic hand tools.

Will this mount still fit if I keep an older Sony EX225 projector?

Yes, the mount is designed for the VPL-EW348, EX225, EX235, EX245, EX255, EX275 and EX295 models, so it fits the older EX225 directly.
