Compatible Projector Models

This ceiling mount is engineered specifically for ViewSonic projectors PJD5253P, PJD5255N, PJD5255P, PJD5154 and PJD5254. It replaces universal brackets with a CNC-machined plate that matches the mounting points of these units exactly. Buyers with any other projector model should not use this product.

Included Hardware and Adjustment Range

The package supplies every bolt, spacer and washer required for assembly, plus printed instructions for quick setup. A telescoping column positions the projector 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch steps. A lateral-shift coupling adds one-and-a-half inches of side-to-side travel to centre the lens when the ceiling joist is off-centre.

Installation Constraints

The mount rotates 360 degrees and tilts in any direction, allowing precise image alignment once the plate is secured. It is built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for rigidity but is not rated for drop or false ceilings. The actual mounting plate may look different from product photos while still fitting the listed projectors.

Questions about this item

Will the 6061-T6 aluminum mounting plate or telescoping tube need periodic replacement under normal indoor use?

The mount is built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with no moving wear parts, so no scheduled replacement is required.

What limits how far the projector can sit from the ceiling when the telescoping extension is fully extended?

The telescoping tube locks in 1-inch increments and stops at 20 inches from the ceiling.

Does the 360-degree rotation joint loosen or generate heat after the projector runs all day?

The rotation joint is a passive mechanical coupling with no motor or friction brake, so it produces no heat and holds position without loosening.
