Questions about this item

Does the mount generate any noise, heat or draw power while the projector runs all day?

The mount is a passive aluminium bracket with no moving parts, fans or electronics, so it adds no noise, heat or power draw to the installation.

What must I already own for this mount to work?

You need one of the listed ViewSonic projectors — PJD6551W, PJD7326, PJD7526W or PJD7720HD — plus a solid drywall ceiling or wooden beam for the supplied hardware.

How does the mount behave alongside older ViewSonic projectors I might keep?

The CNC-machined plate fits only the four models named above; older or different ViewSonic units will not attach to this mount.
