Compatible Optoma Models

This ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Optoma EH503e, EH505e, TX785, W505, X605 and X605e projectors. The CNC-machined mounting plate ensures precise fitment for these models only. It is built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for structural rigidity.

Installers Needing Lateral Alignment

The 360-degree rotation combined with pitch, roll and a 1-1/2 inch lateral shift coupling allows precise lens centring when the ceiling joist is off-centre. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings, so installers working with suspended grids should look elsewhere.

Check Ceiling Structure and Clearance

Verify that the mounting surface is a solid ceiling capable of supporting the projector weight. The telescoping extension positions the unit 13 to 20 inches below the ceiling in one-inch increments. Confirm the projector model matches the listed series exactly before ordering.

Questions about this item

Which Optoma projector models does the OPTOMA-TX785-LAT-13 mount support?

The mount is designed for Optoma EH503e, EH505e, TX785, W505, X605 and X605e projectors. The CNC-machined plate fits only those models.

How much lateral shift does the coupling provide to align the lens with an off-centre ceiling joist?

The Lateral Shift Coupling allows 1-1/2 inches of left or right adjustment so the lens can be centred on the screen.

After installation, how can I confirm the mount is holding the projector at the correct 13 to 20 inch drop?

Extend the telescoping arm until the projector sits 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in 1 inch increments, then verify the image is level and centred.
