Ready-to-install lamp module

The Promethean PRM45-DLP projector lamp is a fully assembled 240W bulb and housing unit designed for direct replacement in compatible Vivitek projectors. It arrives as a complete module so no separate bulb handling or alignment is required during installation. The unit uses a Philips UHP lamp built to ISO9001 quality standards. This product suits technicians and AV managers who need a drop-in replacement without additional tools.

Normal and economy runtime

Under continuous operation the lamp is rated for 3,500 hours in normal mode and 7,000 hours when the projector runs in economy mode. These figures reflect sustained use rather than a brief test cycle, so scheduling can be based on actual classroom or meeting-room duty cycles. The dual-life rating lets administrators plan maintenance windows around the selected brightness setting. Regular filter cleaning helps maintain consistent output throughout the rated period.

Verify projector compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that the target projector accepts the PRM45-DLP module and the Vivitek part number 5811119560-SVV. The supplier notes that several OEM and compatible versions exist for this model, so matching the exact module variant avoids fitment issues. Check the projector’s service manual for the correct lamp-code and housing style. No other system specifications are required for the lamp itself.

Questions about this item

Does the 240 W lamp generate noticeable fan noise or heat during all-day use?

The lamp draws 240 W; the projector’s own cooling system handles heat and fan speed, so perceived noise depends on that model’s thermal design.

What must I already own for this PRM45-DLP module to work?

A compatible Vivitek projector that accepts the 5811119560-SVV lamp assembly; the unit includes bulb and housing so no extra parts are needed.

Will this replacement lamp behave the same as the original in my older Vivitek projector?

Yes — it is built to the same 240 W specification and offers 3 500 hours normal or 7 000 hours economy life, matching the original lamp’s ratings.
