Ready-to-install lamp module

The Promethean UST-P1 projector lamp ships as a complete 230 W Osram P-VIP bulb inside its housing so technicians can swap it without handling bare glass. It is built for schools and meeting rooms that need a quick, tool-free replacement to keep ultra-short-throw displays running.

Rated output and economy mode

The lamp delivers 230 W in normal operation with a rated life of 5000 hours, while an economy setting extends that figure to 8000 hours for lighter daily use. Both ratings come from the same module, giving administrators a choice between maximum brightness and lower long-term cost.

Direct fit for UST-P1 projectors

The module matches the original Promethean UST-P1-LAMP form factor, so it seats in the existing cage and connects to the stock power lead without adapters. Buyers who need a different wattage, a bare bulb without housing, or a lamp for another projector model should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 230W lamp run in the same Promethean projector that originally shipped with a 230W module?

Yes, the UST-P1 lamp is a direct replacement built to the same 230W specification, so it fits and operates in the projector designed for that wattage.

How can I verify the lamp is performing correctly once installed?

The projector should ignite cleanly, show a stable image and log lamp hours; expect up to 5000 hours in normal mode or 8000 hours in economy mode before replacement is needed.

Does the package include only the bare bulb or a complete housing, and are any tools or cables required?

The module arrives as a fully assembled bulb-and-housing unit ready for tool-free installation; no extra cables or accessories are needed.
