Scale and Purpose

This Promotex model reproduces a 36ft gravel trailer in 1/87 HO scale for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts. The officially licensed plastic kit arrives in a brand new box with manufacturer's original unopened packaging. True-to-scale detail covers both interior and exterior surfaces. A functional dump body adds operational interest to the finished piece.

Collector Fit and Limits

The kit suits hobbyists who want a single, detailed trailer to complete a freight consist or diorama scene. Builders seeking a model with opening doors, removable panels or a detailed chassis underside will not find those features here. The trailer has no openings of any kind, limiting interior access after assembly. Collectors needing multiple road numbers or weathering variations must look elsewhere.

Assembly Notes

Some simple assembly is required before the model can be displayed. The finished trailer measures approximately 5.125 inches long, so plan layout space accordingly. Parts fit is generally straightforward, but the small scale means glue placement must be precise to avoid visible excess. The lack of openings means interior details are sealed in once the body halves are joined.
