Scale and Contents

This Promotex set provides a 1/87 (HO) scale wheel and tire package for model vehicle projects. The box contains twelve wheels, twenty tires and six axles made from plastic. Each wheel measures approximately 0.5 inches in diameter. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Collectors and Modellers

The true-to-scale detail suits adult hobbyists finishing HO layout vehicles or building display models. Because the set covers only the wheel assemblies, buyers who need complete rolling chassis or motorised drivetrains will have to source those parts separately. Some simple assembly is required before the parts can be fitted.

0.5 Inch Wheel Diameter

The 0.5 inch wheel diameter is the critical dimension for checking clearance inside body shells and against chassis frames. If the model you are detailing calls for a different wheel size, this set will not match the prototype. Verify the required diameter against your plans before ordering.

The wheels are moulded in standard hobby plastic that remains stable at room temperature and does not soften under normal indoor lighting.
