HO Scale Trailer Chassis

This Promotex model is a 1/87 scale plastic trailer chassis supplied in a brand new, unopened box. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and enthusiasts who appreciate true-to-scale detail in a compact format. The kit requires some simple assembly before display.

Assembly and Display Checks

Confirm you have suitable modelling tools and adhesive for the simple assembly required, as the chassis does not snap together out of the box. The finished piece measures approximately one inch in length, so verify your display area or diorama base can accommodate this footprint. Note that the model features detailed interior and exterior surfaces but does not have any functional openings.

Upgrading a Layout

This chassis replaces a missing or damaged trailer unit on an existing HO scale layout, instantly adding a licensed, detailed component. The jump is worthwhile when you need a specific single-axle prototype to match a particular tractor unit or freight consist. Collectors seeking models with opening doors, movable wheels or interior lighting will not find those features here.
