Teleprompter system with dual monitors

The Prompter People Q-Gear QPRO is a complete teleprompter kit built for video production crews and on-camera talent. It pairs a 19-inch talent monitor with a 24-inch operator display so the presenter reads scrolling text while maintaining eye contact with the camera lens. The self-reversing monitor removes the need for external reversing hardware or software. Its balanced frame supports cameras from palmcorders up to full-size ENG units.

Tool-less assembly with included remote

Custom aluminium extrusions allow the entire rig to be set up and adjusted without tools, saving time on location or in the studio. A handheld remote is supplied so prompting speed and text flow can be changed in real time during recording. The 65/35 beamsplitter glass uses low-iron material and anti-reflection coatings to prevent colour shift and unwanted glass reflections. Inputs on the monitor include VGA, composite and HDMI for flexible source connectivity.

400 nit brightness on 12 V DC power

The LED-backlit display delivers 400 nits of brightness and runs from a supplied 60-watt AC adapter or an external 12 V battery for portable shoots. This single power figure determines whether the system suits your location workflow without mains access. The monitor accepts VGA, HDMI and composite signals at 12 V DC operation. No other video interfaces or control protocols are provided.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 19" monitor is displaying a properly reversed 400-nit image after setup?

The 19" monitor is self-reversing, so text appears correctly reflected on the 65/35 beamsplitter glass without external hardware or software; verify the 400-nit high-bright output visually.

What items are included and what must be purchased separately for the QPRO system?

Included: 19" self-reversing monitor with VGA, HDMI and composite inputs, 24" talent monitor with 3G-SDI and HDMI, 65/35 beamsplitter glass, 60-watt AC adapter, remote control, and aluminum frame. Separate: camera, tripod, power source for battery operation, and video source cables.

Which monitor configuration suits a production needing both operator confidence and on-camera talent viewing?

The 19" monitor faces the talent through the beamsplitter for prompting, while the 24" talent monitor provides a confidence feed for the operator; both accept HDMI, and the 24" adds 3G-SDI for professional workflows.
