Teleprompter with 17-inch LCD screen

The Prompter People Q-Pro 17 Teleprompter is a professional prompting system built around a 17-inch colour LCD panel. It supports DV cameras ranging from compact MiniDV units to full-sized broadcast models, making it suitable for studio and field production crews who need clear script visibility.

Flip-Q Pro and PowerFlip software included

Bundled Flip-Q Pro and PowerFlip PowerPoint software provide direct control over scrolling speed and script management. This software integration lets presenters adjust pacing on the fly and import slides without extra licences, smoothing the workflow from rehearsal to live delivery.

1024x768 resolution on 60/40 glass beam splitter

The display reaches 1024x768 resolution through a premium 60/40 glass beam splitter that balances text clarity with camera transmission. Buyers needing higher pixel density for small-font scripts or a different beam-splitter ratio should evaluate alternative prompting hardware.

Questions about this item

Will the 60/40 glass beam splitter need periodic replacement?

The 60/40 glass beam splitter is a permanent optical component; it does not degrade with use and requires only occasional cleaning with a soft cloth.

What limits continuous operation first — the 1024x768 LCD panel or the cooling?

The 17-inch LCD panel is rated for extended use and has no moving parts; thermal limits are not reached in normal studio conditions.

How much fan noise and heat does the 7.3 lb unit produce during all-day runs?

The aluminium extrusion frame passively dissipates heat; there are no fans, so the teleprompter runs silently and stays cool to the touch.
