Portable 12-inch PA speaker system

The PRORECK DANCE 12 is a 1000-watt peak, 150-watt RMS two-way powered PA combo. It includes one active speaker, one passive speaker, two adjustable stands, a 30-foot speakon cable, microphone cable, wired microphone, remote control and power cable. Bluetooth pairing works with phones and tablets up to 66 feet away, while the remote controls playback and volume from 20 feet. USB drive, SD card and FM radio give multiple standalone sources.

Check power, space and input needs

Verify that your venue can supply either 115 V or 230 V via the rear selector. The cabinets measure 15.7 by 13.2 by 23.6 inches, so confirm they fit your transport and stage area. Stands adjust from 3.0 to 4.3 feet; ensure that range suits your audience sight-lines. You will need 1/4-inch microphone, RCA line or speakon connections for external mixers or instruments.

Replaces smaller all-in-one PA boxes

This system upgrades from compact battery-powered speakers that lack the 150-watt RMS output and dual-speaker coverage needed for larger rooms or outdoor events. The jump is worth it when you require louder, cleaner sound for DJ sets, live vocals or spoken-word presentations and can accommodate the larger cabinets and stands. It is not for users who need a single ultra-portable unit or built-in battery operation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is anything else needed to start using the system?

The combo set includes one active speaker, one passive speaker, two adjustable stands, a 30-feet speakon cable, a mic cable, a wired microphone, a remote control, a power cable and a user manual. Everything required for basic operation is supplied.

How do the 1000 Watts peak and 150-Watt RMS ratings differ for this speaker?

The 1000 Watts figure is the peak power the system can handle in short bursts, while 150-Watt RMS is the continuous power the amplifier delivers without distortion during normal use.

What does the 66 feet Bluetooth range mean when the speaker is placed in a typical room?

You can pair a phone or tablet and control playback from up to 66 feet away in open space; walls and interference will reduce the practical distance indoors.
