Complete Bass System
The PRORECK PR-122M delivers a matched enclosure, mono-block amplifier and full wiring kit in one package. It targets car-audio enthusiasts who want deep low-frequency output without sourcing separate components.
Included Amplifier And Wiring
The supplied PR-1500.1M amplifier provides 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 400 watts dynamic power at 2 ohms, with RCA line input, high-level input, full-range RCA output, bass EQ and a dashboard remote. Protection circuits cover thermal, short-circuit, overload and DC offset conditions, while the kit supplies every cable needed for installation.
Enclosure Capacity And Limits
The dual 12-inch enclosure is tuned with a 15-degree angle for vehicle bass alignment and covers a frequency response of 15Hz to 20kHz. The 1.5-inch aluminium voice coils and vented motor structure handle 400 watts RMS continuously, so the system runs out of clean headroom well above typical listening levels but will not suit installations requiring higher continuous power.

Questions about this item
How often will the 1.5" aluminium 4-layer voice coils need inspection or replacement under normal use?
The voice coils are built into the sealed enclosure and have no user-service interval; they only require attention if the amplifier protection circuit reports a speaker short-circuit fault.
Which limit appears first during extended playback — the 200 W RMS thermal ceiling or the amplifier protection circuits?
The amplifier thermal protection engages before the 200 W RMS rating is exceeded continuously, muting output until the heatsink cools.
How much heat does the Class A/B mono-block produce when running at 400 W dynamic power all day?
At 400 W into 2 Ohms the Class A/B topology generates significant heat, so the built-in thermal protection will cycle the amplifier off periodically to prevent damage.
