Fixed 2 lb Dumbbell for Toning

The ProSource neoprene dumbbell is a fixed 2 lb weight designed for toning muscles during cardio or fitness classes. Its hexagonal cast-iron core is wrapped in a yellow neoprene coating that resists slipping and protects hands from calluses. The compact size makes it easy to store at home.

Hexagonal Non-Roll Upgrade

The hexagonal head replaces round dumbbells that roll away when set down, creating a safer workout area and allowing neat stacking. The neoprene exterior upgrades bare metal or vinyl finishes by adding a textured, non-slip grip that stays secure even with sweaty hands. The cast-iron core increases durability over all-plastic alternatives.

Suits Light-Weight Home Users

This weight suits beginners, rehabilitation exercises or high-repetition cardio routines where a light, secure grip is needed. The color-coded yellow finish helps identify the 2 lb size quickly in a mixed set. Lifters who need heavier loads for strength progression should look at heavier options in the range.

Questions about this item

How much floor space does the hexagonal 2 lb head need so it won't roll?

The hexagonal head prevents rolling and lets you stack multiple dumbbells vertically to save space.

What is the correct way to grip the neoprene-coated handle so it doesn't slip?

Hold the textured neoprene handle firmly; the coating provides a non-slip grip even with sweaty hands.

When should the dumbbell be replaced if the neoprene coating wears down?

Replace it if the neoprene cracks or peels enough to expose the cast iron core underneath.
