ProX T-MC 10U 19" Topload Flight Case

This hard-shell flight case accepts any standard 19-inch rack mixer up to 10 rack units high. It is built for touring engineers, mobile DJs and lighting operators who need to move sensitive mixing consoles or DMX controllers between venues. The topload design lets you drop the unit in from above and secure the lid for transport.

Practical limits of the 19-inch 10U format

The interior depth from the top rear rail to the base measures 6 inches, so any mixer deeper than that will not fit. The case accommodates exactly 10 rack spaces; taller consoles require a larger case. Overall external dimensions are 21.00 inches long, 19.00 inches deep and 12.00 inches high, weighing 17.00 lbs.

Installation notes and common issues

Installation is straightforward: place the mixer on the bottom rails, fasten the front rack screws and close the lid. The most frequent problem is discovering that a mixer’s chassis exceeds the 6-inch internal depth after the case arrives. Verify the mixer’s exact depth before purchase; no internal rails or foam inserts are included to adjust the fit.

Questions about this item

How do I know if my mixer will fit inside the 10U topload rack case?

The case accepts any 19-inch rack mixer up to 10 rack units high and no deeper than 6 inches from the rear rail to the base.

What do the 12-inch external height and 17-pound weight mean when the case is on stage?

The case stands 12 inches tall and weighs 17 pounds empty, so it adds modest bulk and can be lifted by one person for load-in.

What does the 19-inch rack width actually limit in daily use?

The 19-inch width matches the EIA rack standard, so only equipment built to that mounting width will install securely.
