Pocket AM/FM Radio for Emergency Listening

The PRUNUS 777 is a compact transistor radio that receives AM and FM broadcast bands, letting users stay informed during power outages, storms or outdoor trips. It runs on two AAA batteries, which are not supplied, and weighs 64 grams so it adds negligible bulk to a bag or pocket.

Fits Any Kit with Minimal Requirements

The hinged battery cover prevents lost parts and the retractable antenna extends only when needed, freeing space in a backpack or glove compartment. A simple three-knob layout — volume, tuning and band switch — plus a power indicator means no extra cables, apps or chargers are required to operate it.

Suits Listeners Who Value Simplicity and Portability

This radio serves walkers, campers and anyone preparing an emergency kit who want reliable analogue reception without digital menus. Buyers who need shortwave bands, Bluetooth streaming, rechargeable cells or station presets should look at other models.

Questions about this item

How long will two AAA batteries last if I listen to the PRUNUS 777 all day?

Runtime depends on the volume level and the battery chemistry you choose; alkaline cells typically give many hours of continuous play before the power indicator signals a swap.

Does the PRUNUS 777 get warm or make any fan noise during extended use?

The radio has no fan and draws very little current, so it stays at ambient temperature and runs completely silent whether you use the speaker or the headphone jack.

What do I need to supply myself before the PRUNUS 777 will turn on?

Two AAA batteries are required; they are not included in the box.
