Emergency Radio with NOAA Auto Alert

The PRUNUS J-366 is a compact emergency radio designed for home preparedness and outdoor use. It receives NOAA weather alerts on 162.400-162.550MHz alongside standard FM 87–108MHz and AM 520–1710kHz bands. A 16.5 inch antenna supports reception quality. The unit includes a built-in flashlight and SOS alarm mode for signalling.

5-Way Power and 7400mWh Power Bank

A 7400mWh rechargeable battery powers the radio and serves as a power bank for phones via integrated Lightning, USB-C, and Micro USB cables. Five power sources keep it running: USB-C charging, solar panel, hand crank, the internal battery, and AAA batteries (not included). The system prioritises the rechargeable battery before switching to AAA cells. Dimensions are 5.6 x 2.6 x 2.0 inches weighing 8.6 ounces.

Replaces Separate Radio, Torch and Charger

This single device replaces a standalone weather radio, a torch and a portable charger with multiple cables. The jump is worth it when you want one compact unit for a grab-bag, car glove box or bedside table that delivers NOAA alerts, light and device charging without hunting for separate cables or power adapters. It is not suited for users who need shortwave bands, two-way communication or a larger battery capacity for extended off-grid trips.

Questions about this item

How do I install the built-in 3-in-1 cable and 16.5 inch antenna for the first time?

Extend the 16.5 inch antenna fully before turning the tuner to FM 87–108MHz or NOAA 162.400–162.550MHz. The integrated Lightning, USB-C and Micro USB cable stores in the housing; pull it out and plug directly into your phone — no separate cable is needed.

What maintenance or replacement will the power system need later?

The internal 7400mWh rechargeable cell is not user-replaceable; when it no longer holds charge you must rely on the USB-C input, hand crank, solar panel or AAA batteries (not included) for continued operation.

What limit appears first during sustained hand-crank or solar charging?

The 7400mWh internal battery caps stored energy; once full, additional cranking or sunlight cannot increase capacity, so you must draw power via the 3-in-1 cable or flashlight to make room for more charging.
