Studio 4K Camera for Live Production

The PTZOptics Studio 4K camcorder captures UHD 4K60 video with a 20x optical zoom lens and a 60.7° angle of view. It streams via NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP using H.264 or H.265. Control is handled through IP or RS-485. The camera includes a Delvcam VGRIP-2 clamp mount for attaching monitors or accessories to pipes from .5 to 1.5 inches in diameter.

Upgrade from Fixed-Angle Webcams

This camera replaces static webcams or basic PTZ units that lack optical zoom or professional streaming protocols. The jump is worth it when you need live camera movement, remote control over IP or RS-485, and simultaneous SDI, HDMI, and USB-C outputs. It also adds PoE+ power so a single Ethernet cable handles both data and power for simpler installs.

Sustained Streaming and Output Stability

Under continuous operation the camera maintains 4K60 over HDMI while delivering 1080p60 over SDI and USB-C. PoE+ keeps power stable without a separate adapter. The clamp mount supports up to 10 lb of attached gear, staying locked during long sessions. Dual encoding handles NDI|HX2 and SRT streams at once without dropping frames.
