Studio 4K 20x optical zoom camcorder

The PTZOptics Studio 4K captures UHD 4K60 video through a 20x optical zoom lens with a 60.7° angle of view. A 16x digital zoom extends reach further. Outputs include SDI and USB-C at 1080p60 and HDMI at UHD 4K60. The camera streams via NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP and RTSP using H.264 and H.265. Power is supplied by an adapter or PoE+.

Multi-camera producers and live-stream operators

This camcorder suits teams needing IP-based control through RS-485 and network protocols for remote operation. Audio input and output support external microphones and monitoring. The bundled clamp mounts to pipes from .5 to 1.5 inches and holds accessories up to 10 lb. Buyers who require internal recording media slots or built-in wireless transmission should look at other models.

Sustained streaming and PoE+ operation

Under continuous load the camera maintains network streaming at UHD 4K60 while powered over a single Ethernet cable. PoE+ eliminates separate power runs during long sessions. RS-485 and IP control remain responsive for pan, tilt and zoom adjustments throughout extended productions. Thermal design supports uninterrupted operation without external cooling requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the camera need a separate power adapter, or can it run from a PoE+ network switch?

The Studio 4K accepts power from the included adapter or via PoE+ over a single Ethernet cable, so a PoE+ switch can replace the adapter.

Will the SDI and HDMI outputs work together with older 1080p monitors and recorders?

SDI is limited to 1080p60 while HDMI supports up to UHD 4K60, so both ports can feed legacy 1080p gear simultaneously.

How can I confirm the 20x optical zoom is functioning after installation?

Use the IR remote or IP/RS-485 control to move the lens through its full range and verify the 60.7° wide angle narrows smoothly to the telephoto end.
