Adjustable Roller Frame 12-18 in

The PURDY adjustable roller frame extends from 12 to 18 inches to suit different surface widths. A steel shank supports the roller cage while a black plastic handle provides grip. The threaded handle accepts standard extension poles for overhead work. It is designed for use with latex and oil-based paints.

Quick-connect cage limits roller choice

The adjustable quick-connect mechanism only accepts roller covers that match its expanding cage design. Covers must fit the 12 to 18 inch range without slack to prevent slipping. Standard fixed-size frames or non-compatible cage styles will not attach. The mechanism has no provision for mini rollers or specialty textures beyond the stated range.

Steel shank and threaded handle for daily use

The steel shank resists bending when pressure is applied across the full 18 inch span. The black plastic handle is threaded for secure pole attachment during ceiling or wall work. Transparent cage components allow visual confirmation of roller engagement. The frame contains no moving parts beyond the adjustment slide, reducing failure points during repeated cleaning cycles.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12 in or 18 in setting for my project?

The frame adjusts continuously from 12 to 18 in so you can match the roller cover to each wall section without buying multiple frames.

What does the 18 in overall length mean when the frame is on a pole?

At full extension the frame measures 18 in end to end, giving a wide coverage path while the steel shank keeps the roller rigid under load.

How does the threaded handle work with standard extension poles?

The black plastic handle has a standard threaded socket that screws onto any compatible pole for ceiling and high-wall work.
