Purell TFX Touch-Free Dispenser

The Purell 2720-12 TFX dispenser provides touch-free, trouble-free dispensing of foam or gel sanitizer in a 1200 ml capacity. It automatically delivers the required amount for hand hygiene in office breakrooms, janitorial areas and other shared spaces. The unit operates on three standard C-size alkaline batteries sold separately.

Upgrade from manual pump bottles

This dispenser replaces manual pump bottles to reduce cross-contamination and control product usage in high-traffic areas. The jump is worth it when a facility needs up to 30,000 uses per refill cycle and prefers a battery-powered, automated solution. It is not suited for locations requiring hard-wired power or smaller capacity reservoirs.

Questions about this item

What are the mounting dimensions for the Purell 2720-12 dispenser?

The unit measures 6-1/2 inches wide, 4-1/2 inches deep, and 11-1/4 inches high, so allow that footprint plus clearance for the 1200ml refill cartridge.

How do you power the dispenser and what is the common setup mistake?

Insert three standard C-size alkaline batteries; the step people miss is ensuring correct polarity alignment for all three cells before closing the battery cover.
