Gooseneck iPod Dock with FM Transmitter

The Pyle PIFMDK6 is a new docking station that charges any iPod model while transmitting audio to a car stereo. A flexible gooseneck stand positions the device for easy viewing and the included adaptors ensure a secure fit for every generation of player.

FM Range and Channel Control

The transmitter covers the full FM band from 88.1 to 107.9 and sends a signal up to 8 metres, giving plenty of headroom to find a clear frequency. If local stations crowd the band the up and down selector lets you step through channels quickly until the audio comes through cleanly.

Power and Display in Daily Use

A wired cigarette lighter plug with a three foot cable supplies power without occupying a permanent socket. The blue backlit LCD shows the selected frequency at a glance and a dedicated power button lets you shut the unit down completely when the vehicle is parked.

Questions about this item

Will the gooseneck iPod dock fit in my car's cup holder alongside an older 30-pin iPod classic?

The dock measures 2.65 inches wide by 4 inches high by 2 inches deep, so check your cup holder dimensions against those figures before mounting.

How can I confirm the FM transmitter is broadcasting on a clear frequency after I plug it into the cigarette lighter?

Tune your car radio to a quiet spot between 88.1 and 107.9 MHz, then use the up/down channel selector on the dock until the blue backlight LCD shows the same frequency and audio plays.

Which adapters come in the box for different iPod models and do I need a separate power cable?

The package includes the gooseneck dock with integrated 3-foot cigarette-lighter plug and all iPod model adapters; no extra power cable is required.
