The PLMR82 is an 8-inch two-way speaker pair built for marine environments such as boats, docks and poolside areas. White ABS baskets and rust-proof mesh covers protect the drivers from moisture and UV exposure. Each unit handles 300 watts peak power and presents a 4-ohm load for standard marine amplifiers. Supplied as a pair with wiring included.

Direct-fit mounting with fixed depth

Installation requires an 8-inch cut-out and 3.25 inches of mounting depth; the speakers will not fit 6-inch openings. The moulded ABS basket secures with standard screws and the included wires connect to typical marine speaker terminals. No enclosure or crossover box is needed, but verify the available depth behind the panel before cutting.

300-watt peak headroom for open-air listening

The polycarbon cone and 1.5-inch high-temperature voice coil deliver 91 dB sensitivity from 60 Hz to 20 kHz, with a 0.5-inch neodymium dome tweeter extending the highs. This output level suits background music and voice on deck or at the dock. Deep bass below 60 Hz and sustained high-SPL playback in large open spaces exceed the driver’s capabilities.
