Professional megaphone for outdoor communication

The Pyle PMP30 is a 30W handheld megaphone designed for projecting voice over long distances. It suits event organisers, coaches, security personnel and anyone needing clear amplified speech outdoors. The built-in siren adds an emergency alert function. It is not for users who require a wired microphone input or integrated audio recording.

800-yard voice projection range

The single specification that determines suitability is the 800-yard audible range combined with 30 watts of output power. This defines how far the amplified voice carries in open conditions. Buyers needing coverage beyond this distance or higher wattage for noisier environments should look elsewhere.

Simple battery-powered setup

Operation requires inserting 4 D batteries into the compartment, then using the variable volume control to adjust output. The unit weighs 1.15 lbs and measures 6.25" dia x 10"L, making it lightweight for extended handheld use. A common issue is forgetting spare batteries, as there is no AC power option.
