Pyle 6.5" Coaxial Speakers

The Pyle KFC-1666S is a pair of 6.5-inch two-way coaxial car speakers designed for flush-mount door installation. They suit drivers replacing factory units who want a straightforward upgrade without separate component mounting. The 4-ohm impedance matches most standard head units and aftermarket amplifiers.

60W RMS Power Handling

Each pair handles 60 watts RMS continuously with a 300-watt peak capacity, giving headroom for dynamic musical passages. The 90dB sensitivity means they play loudly on modest power, though very high-output systems will exceed their thermal limits. Frequency response spans 40 to 22000 Hz for full-range coverage.

Polypropylene Cone and Cloth Surround

The polypropylene cone with treated cloth surrounds resists moisture and temperature swings inside door cavities. A 1-inch balanced dome tweeter handles highs while the ferrite magnet motor keeps distortion low at moderate volumes. Top-mount depth is 1-11/16 inches, requiring adequate door clearance for fitment.

Questions about this item

Will the 6.5" KFC-1666S coaxial speakers fit the existing 4-7/8" cutout in my door panels?

Yes, the cutout dimension is 4-7/8" and the top-mount depth is 1-11/16", so they match standard 6.5" openings.

How can I verify the 90dB sensitivity and 40-22000 Hz response are performing correctly after installation?

Play a frequency sweep at moderate volume; smooth output from 40 Hz to 22 kHz without distortion confirms the spec.

Does the box include mounting hardware or speaker wire, or must I purchase them separately?

The package contains the KFC-1666S speakers only; mounting screws and speaker wire are not included.
