Internal 9.5mm SATA Blu-ray Burner

The QAREQU BU20N is a slimline internal drive that reads and writes Blu-ray, DVD and CD media in a single unit. It fits laptops and other devices that accept a 9.5mm high SATA tray-loading optical bay. BDXL triple-layer discs up to 100GB and M-Disc archival media are supported for both reading and burning.

Suits laptops with a 9.5mm SATA bay

This drive serves owners of compatible notebooks who need to replace a failed optical unit or add BDXL and M-Disc capability. It is not for systems that lack an internal SATA optical connection or that require a different physical height or loading mechanism. Desktop builders without a suitable slimline bay adapter should look elsewhere.

6x BD-R write speed

The burner writes single-layer, dual-layer and triple-layer BD-R media at 6x CAV. This single speed figure determines how quickly large Blu-ray backups or M-Disc archives can be created. Buyers needing faster Blu-ray recording or different format support must choose another model.
