Waterproof heat-shrink butt connectors for 16-14 AWG wire with tinned copper cores and adhesive-lined tubing, 1000 pieces
This kit supplies one thousand heat-shrink butt connectors sized for 16 to 14 AWG wire. It is intended for technicians and hobbyists who need reliable, waterproof splices in automotive, marine or general electrical work. The assortment includes yellow, black, blue, red and clear tubing for quick visual identification.
Each connector uses polyolefin tubing with a 3:1 shrink ratio and an inner adhesive layer that seals against moisture and corrosion. The tubing begins to shrink at 175 °F and is rated for continuous operation from -60 °F to 260 °F. A heat gun is required to activate the seal; open flames or inadequate heat will not produce a waterproof joint.
These connectors replace twist-and-tape or bare crimp methods by combining a tinned copper barrel with adhesive-lined heat shrink. The solderless design lets you insert stripped wires, crimp both ends with standard pliers, then apply heat for a sealed splice. The jump is worth it when vibration, salt spray or condensation would degrade unsealed connections.

Choose the blue 16-14 AWG connectors when your wires fall between 1.5 and 2.5 mm²; the kit also includes yellow for 12-10 AWG, red for 22-16 AWG, clear for 26-24 AWG and black for 14-12 AWG so you can match each splice to its wire gauge.
The tubing shrinks to one-third its original diameter and the inner hot-melt adhesive flows to fill gaps, creating a waterproof, strain-relieved seal that holds the splice firmly in automotive or marine wiring.
A standard heat gun set above 175 °F will activate the shrink and adhesive; the connectors are rated for continuous use from -60 °F up to 260 °F, so they survive engine-bay and under-dash temperatures once installed.
