Qnap QSWM3216R8S8TUS 16-port 10GbE network switch

16-Port 10GbE Switch

The Qnap QSW-M3216R-8S8T-US is a half-width rackmount Layer 2 managed switch with sixteen 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports. Eight ports use SFP+ fiber connectors and eight use 10GBase-T RJ45 copper connectors. A web-based interface provides network management features including IGMP snooping, port mirroring and spanning tree support. It is designed for high-speed network environments requiring flexible fiber and copper connectivity.

Suited for mixed fiber and copper deployments

This switch suits administrators who need both SFP+ and RJ45 10GbE ports in a single half-rack unit with web-managed Layer 2 features. Buyers who require Layer 3 routing, Power over Ethernet, or a full-width rackmount form factor should look at other models.

Sixteen 10GbE ports split eight SFP+ and eight RJ45

The defining specification is the sixteen-port configuration divided equally between eight 10GBase-X SFP+ ports and eight 10GBase-T RJ45 ports. This fixed split determines whether the port mix matches the cabling plan for the intended network segment.
