Proprietary 250W NAS power supply

The Qnap SP-4BAY-PSU is a proprietary 250W power supply designed for compatible QNAP NAS servers. It provides the specific electrical output and connector layout required by the listed four-bay and rackmount models.

Replaces failed or ageing original units

This unit directly replaces the factory power supply in TS-439 Pro, 439 Pro II, 439 Pro II+, 459 Pro, 459 Pro+, 410U, 419U and 469 Pro systems. The upgrade is worth it when the original supply fails, shows voltage instability or prevents the NAS from powering on reliably.

Fits approved chassis without modification

The supply measures 2.1 inches high, 3 inches wide and 8.6 inches deep, weighing approximately 2.09 lb, matching the original form factor exactly. It frees the builder from sourcing generic ATX units and adapter cables that would not fit the proprietary mounting points or wiring harnesses of these specific NAS enclosures.

Questions about this item

Will the 250W unit with 2.1" height, 3" width and 8.6" depth fit my TS-439 Pro II+ bay?

Yes — the proprietary supply measures 2.1 by 3 by 8.6 inches and is listed for the TS-439 Pro II+ among other 4-bay models.

What is the installation step people often miss when swapping this PSU into a TS-459 Pro+?

Slide the unit fully home until the latch clicks, then reconnect the single proprietary power connector before closing the chassis.

When should I plan to replace the 2.09 lb supply in my TS-469 Pro?

Expect 3–5 years of continuous use; replace sooner if fan noise rises or the NAS restarts under load.
