Purpose-built PSU

This single internal power supply is designed for Qnap 2U eight-bay NAS chassis. It fits the TS-809U-RP, TS-859U-RP, TS-859U-RP+, TS-869U-RP, TS-879U-RP, EC879U-RP and TS-870U-RP models. It also supports the Viostor VS-8024U-RP, VS-8032U-RP and VS-8040U-RP NVR servers. Buyers who need a redundant second supply cannot use this unit alone.

Dimensions and mounting

The supply measures 2.1 inches high, 6.9 inches wide and 8.6 inches deep, weighing 1.98 pounds. It installs directly inside the 2U rack-mount enclosure without an additional bracket. The WEEE certification confirms compliance with European waste-electronics requirements. Builders working with non-Qnap chassis or 1U form factors will find this unit incompatible.

Single-supply specification

This is a standalone single power supply, not a redundant pair. It carries a one-year limited warranty from the manufacturer. Systems configured for dual hot-swap supplies require a second matching unit to maintain redundancy. Shops maintaining a spare for immediate replacement should verify the exact model list before ordering.
