3-Pack 2-in-1 USB-A/C to C Cable

This three-pack supplies six-foot cables that combine a USB-A plug and a USB-C plug on the host side with a single USB-C connector on the device side. Each cable delivers up to 60 W over USB-C to USB-C and up to 30 W over USB-A to USB-C, suiting phones, tablets and laptops that charge through a USB-C port.

Installation and common issues

Plug the appropriate host connector into the charger or computer and the USB-C end into the device; no drivers are required. The most frequent problem is using a power adapter that does not support PD 3.0 or QC 3.0, which prevents fast charging from activating. Cable orientation is fixed, so forcing the connector can damage the port.

Capacity and headroom

The USB-C to USB-C path handles 60 W, enough for most phones, tablets and ultraportable laptops. The USB-A to USB-C path tops out at 30 W, so larger laptops will charge slowly or not at all. Data transfer reaches 480 Mbps, adequate for backups and file sync but not for high-speed external drives.
