Questions about this item

How do I apply the 4oz spray so it protects against mosquitoes and ticks without missing spots?

Hold the bottle 6 to 8 inches from exposed skin and clothing, spray in a sweeping motion until surfaces are evenly wet, then rub in with your hands to cover ankles, wrists and neck where insects land first.

When will I need to re-apply or replace the 4oz bottle during a camping trip?

Re-apply every two hours or after swimming or heavy sweating; a 4oz bottle typically lasts one adult two to three full days of repeated use, so pack a second bottle for longer trips.

What is the first limit I hit when using the spray continuously in hot, humid conditions?

The essential-oil scent fades after about ninety minutes in high heat, signalling that the active ingredients — geraniol, peppermint oil, citronella oil, thyme oil and clove oil — are evaporating and protection is dropping.
