Yellow shelf bin for parts organisation

This polypropylene shelf bin measures 17 7/8 inches long, 6 5/8 inches wide and 4 inches high. It provides 0.21 cubic feet of internal volume for storing hardware, fasteners or office supplies. The bright yellow colour aids visual identification on shelving units. It suits workshops, warehouses or office storage rooms needing durable open-front containers.

Load capacity under continuous use

The bin supports a 50 lb load capacity when filled and placed on a shelf. Polypropylene construction resists cracking under sustained weight and daily handling. Inside dimensions of 16 1/2 by 5 1/2 by 4 inches maintain usable space even when fully loaded. No divider slots run along the length, limiting internal partitioning options.

Divider compatibility decides fit

Seven short divider slots accept manufacturer dividers DSB102, DSB104 or DSB106 for crosswise separation. Buyers needing lengthwise compartments cannot use this bin. ESD conductive rating is absent, so it is unsuitable for static-sensitive electronics storage. Choose this model only when short-axis dividers meet the organisation plan.

Questions about this item

Will the yellow polypropylene shelf bin warp or sag when loaded to its 50 lb capacity all day?

The bin is moulded from polypropylene and rated for 50 lb load capacity, so it holds its shape under full weight during continuous use.

Do I need to buy dividers separately to organise the 16 1/2 in inside length?

Yes, optional dividers with manufacturer numbers DSB102, DSB104 or DSB106 fit the seven short divider slots; the bin ships without them.

Can I stack these 17 7/8 in bins on older metal shelving that has a 16 in depth?

The outside length is 17 7/8 in, so the bin overhangs a 16 in deep shelf; check your shelf depth before stacking.
